Camdeboo National Park is perfectly situated to provide visitors with insights into the Karoo’s unique landscape and eco-system and its awesome scenic beauty. The 19,405-hectare park practically surrounds Graaff-Reinet, lying level on the foothills of the Sneeuberg Mountain Range. Camdeboo provides caravaners and campers with an exciting holiday experience. Be adventurous and go 4x4ing.

Spend the day with the family at the 1,000 hectare capacity Nqweba Dam, a photographer’s delight at sunrise or sunset, and great for fishing and motorised watersport (permits required). Holiday programme for kids. No pets allowed (except within the Mountain Drive Recreation Zone). Area is home to buffalo and antelope (eland, blesbok, kudu, gemsbok and springbok), Cape mountain zebra as well as small predators such as caracal and bat-eared fox.
